In pursuance to the Supreme court order on SWM Rules 2026 under Rule 15 of the Solid Waste Management (SWM) Rules, and in compliance with the directives issued by Mission Director, State Rural Employment Society, Shillong and the Swachh Bharat Mission (SBM) implementation guidelines, a dedicated District Solid Waste Management (SWM) Special Cell is hereby constituted for South West Garo Hills District, Ampati, with the following members.
